Puso ng Saging is the teardrop-shaped, purple flower-like thing that is found at the end of the banana fruit cluster. It can be eaten either raw or steamed and used with dips or cooked in soups, curries, and fried foods. A well-cooked banana heart should reveal a subtle creamy flavor!
  • Can’t deny how good Ginataang Puso ng Saging is! Heat Oil in a pan and sauté white GARLIC, RED ONION, and GINGER. Add puso ng saging and cold pressed fresh frozen COCONUT MILK and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with McCormick Iodized Salt 550g and McCormick Black Pepper Ground 35g. Simmer again until the coconut milk is reduced by half. Add local RED CHILI siling labuyo before serving. Don’t forget to add slices of premium triple a grade local PORK SHOULDER KASIM cubes to make it more flavourful!
